Annual HHSAA Luncheon -- August 21, 2010, 11:00 AM
Iron Starr Cafe, 36th and Shartel
All Harding Alumni Invited ! !
Saturday, August 21st, 2010 is the date of our Harding Alumni
Association Annual Luncheon.
We will be meeting at the Iron Starr Urban BBQ and Grille
located at 36th and N. Shartel again this year.
Many of you will remember it as Crown Heights Drug --- one of
our choices at lunch time for a sandwich and soda followed by a
quick run back to school. The fountain bar is still intact and
many local Harding Alumni frequent the familiar hangout.
From 11:00 am (doors open at 10:45 am) to 11:45 we will meet in
the Hickory Room where soda or bar items can be served if
desired and we can gab with former classmates from all classes.
Your choice of luncheon entree from a special menu will be taken
during this time. From 11:45 am to 12:15 pm, our HHSAA
President, Steve Craven ’60, will bring everyone up to date on
what has been going on with your Association over the past year
and some of the accomplishments you, the alumni, have made
possible. Lunch will be served at 12:15 with the remainder of
our time spent socializing, renewing friendships and just having
a good time.
All Harding alumni are invited – you do not have to be a dues
Each person will be billed $15.00 at the door. This includes:
Main course, two side dishes, desert and all non-alcoholic
beverages. The HHSAA will take care of all gratuities to our
Comments received after last year’s luncheon indicate it was a
great success and enjoyed by all. The attendance was larger than
we expected, so we are hoping to see an even larger turnout this
year. Come by yourself, bring a high school friend, or better
yet bring a crowd.
RSVP by August 6th – but the sooner the better: just click “contact us” and let us know
you will be attending.
Call Becky Blackstock ‘61 at 405-603-6844 – If no answer, please
leave a message.
If you think you can’t make it and plans change after August 6th
so you can attend, let us know.
We are looking forward to seeing a large FLOCK OF EAGLES on
Your HHSAA Board
Forward to Hearing from You!
